What is Slow Art?
15 female artists from the SGBK are exhibiting their latest works. At each vernissage, two artists will present their works.
The audience will learn about their motivation, inspiration, technique, etc. There will be an opportunity for personal exchange with the artists. Refreshments will be served.

Why Slow Art?
In this fast-paced world of speed dating, fast food, and selfies, the audience views a work for between five and eleven seconds (according to German studies). No wonder a counter-movement has developed: The Art of Slow Looking, for example at the Tate London (www.tate.org.uk).

Now Slow Looking is also coming to Zollikon.
The villa is currently restricted, i.e., with temporary use (renovation in 2026), the number of visitors per evening is limited. Therefore, a total of eight vernissages are planned.
